Summer Time

No updates in almost 3 months. Lets see...where to begin? Monster Jam with Noah and my father in February. It took me 2 weeks to figure out the code to embed the video of Grave Digger into the home page on the site. Pretty cool. Blew out my knee in May. Emma and Noah are both growing like crazy (Emma has 2 bottom teeth now). Heather is finally done with school for this year (w00t!!) which means a little more sleep for me for the next 2 months. Pool is open and crystal clear. Its been hot for the past 2 weeks and the water has warmed up to about 86 already. I'm also considering taking the CISSP exam at the end of August. If I don't do it now, i'll have to wait until next year because I have no time to study while Heather is at work. There is a new addition to the Gallery as of yesterday. Check out summer 2010. Great new pics of the kids taken by my very talented brother-in-law, Justin, at the in-laws farm. Thats it for now. New stuff to come shortly..

Billy Simons Live

I was finally able to see my brother, Billy Simons, play a live show in Boston on January 30. I went with a couple of friends not sure what to expect as far as crowd and venue were concerned. The show was at the Sweetwater Cafe in Boylston Place. A small room but who knew how many "fans" would be showing since his gigs are ususally in his home town of Manhattan. Well, by the time 9pm hit, it was standing room only and the crowd was ready to listen. Billy put on an awesome show considering the heat in the place broke earlier in the day and it was freezing in there. All in all, the show went off without a hitch and good times were had by all....including me (who tends to have a good time where ever I am)... I can't wait to go to another Billy Simons spectacular, next time in NY hopefully. Good work my man!!

geosimons.NET 2.0 is born!

Please join me in welcoming in the new format to the already awesome geosimons.NET website. The site has been reborn with an all new (and much anticipated) look in an easier to view format. The new geosimons.NET has also spawned a new photo gallery which was most generously provided by "the awesome" Ryan Reed. Please have a look around and remember that this is only the beginning so not everything is in perfect working order right now.

MEGA UPDATE

There is a brand new Gallery format now. Thanks to Ryan Reed for the scripting and the format! The gallery looks 100x better than the old one I was using and is alot easier to update and modify. Click on either "Gallery" tag and check it out.

Big News Today!

Big news today! I was looking through the audit logs of my firewall for the past 24 hours and noticed that the Google Crawl bot had been hitting this site all morning. Of course, I had to go to Google and search for geosimons. Take a look at what the #1 entry is for geosimons today!

GoogleSearch

Now I know that most people aren't usually sitting at their computers on a Friday afternoon Googling the name geosimons, but I thought this was pretty cool.

MEGA UPDATE

I actually have some pictures up and viewable in the Gallery section of the site! Please have a look when you get a chance. Its pretty much the most difficult work i've ever successfully completed on a site before. Go to the "Day With Thomas" section in the Gallery andlet me know what you think.

The Mission

OK, this is it. The final attempt at a semi-visually acceptable web site. The pressure is on and critics are looking for typos and whatever else they can find to discredit me. I am up to the challenge and have only two words for them..."Bring it"!
